Who makes Latus work? Meet the Team – Emma Baker

From logisticians to marketing gurus to health and safety experts and everything it between, Latus is staffed by a diverse group of committed professionals led by our Managing director Mike Wood. What all Latus professionals share in common is a passion for Logistics Risk and the ability to deliver education, advice, products and services that are changing the way business’s operate and that are  contributing to the evolution of the logistics industry.

Today we introduce Emma Baker.

Quick fact: Emma collects 1950’s china and especially loves salt and pepper shakers.

Position: Emma Baker is a Senior Consultant and Business Development for Latus, Australia.

Background: Emma is a respected business development and instructional designer for Latus. Emma has over 15 years experience in the construction and logistics industry specializing in education, business development and stakeholder management.   Emma holds a degree in arts and business and has held speaking engagements for many business including representing the Clean Energy Council at many events across Australia. During her career Emma has helped to develop logistics practices in the green energy movement and worked with Australian government on tackling issues such as homelessness and cost effective housing.  Emma has an ongoing and firm commitment to professional coaching, training and development of logistics risk in throughout Asia and Australia.

Emma Baker

Emma Baker is a senior consultant for Latus. Emma has a background in communications and marketing, with a focus on business development. Her primary focus for Latus is assisting in spearheading the growth and direction of the company´s marketing initiatives in Australia as well as; channel development, strategic partnerships, brand image, and customer acquisition through both online and offline advertising. Emma resides in Melbourne Victoria and holds a degree in Business from Victoria University and Arts, from the University of Ballarat.
