WA Biggest Road Transport move

Now this is Road Transport!! 4 Prime movers pulling, two pushing a  load of over 700 tons.

Traveled from one mine in Western Australia to another 230 km away at an average speed 6 km/hr on bitumen and 4 km/hr on gravel. It took 6 days driving 15 hours a day,  this also included becoming bogged with four front end loaders having trouble pulling it out.

That’s an impressive move and well done to the Transport Company and Drivers that did it.

As his expertise and knowledge grew he moved into consulting and became Principal Consultant with Dawson Consulting, one of the largest Supply Chain and Logistics consulting companies in Australia Mike is now Managing Director of LATUS Business Solutions, which is a highly regarded Business Improvement practice, operating in 3 major area; • Supply Chain & Logistics design; • Compliance implementation & management; • Risk analysis& Safety management • Leading training provider (RTO) in the area of Lean Logistics & Business He has been a Director of transport and logistics industry associations in Queensland and Victoria.
